obLITTERators Remove 65 Bags of Trash From Mt. Airy

We can’t help but notice the explosion of litter across the city. In an effort to be part of the solution, Cincinnati Parks Foundation created the “obLITTERators” monthly volunteer outing sfor litter removal within Cincinnati Parks. The program kicked off on April 30th in Mt. Airy Forest. The second event on May 25th picked up where the first event left off, removing litter on Shepherd Creek Rd. between Blue Spruce and West Fork roads.

Volunteers included Cincinnati Parks Foundation Board members, community members, MadTree Brewing employees, and more. Over the course of two hours, volunteers removed more than 65 bags of trash (over 910 gallons) from the park perimeter!

NEXT EVENT: Saturday, June 25 | 12-2PM

Join the next obLITTERators volunteer clean-up day! We will be cleaning up Inwood Park in Mt. Auburn.
