Cincinnati Parks provide an essential service to our community, and this became crystal clear during the pandemic. Last year, to support the Parks which provide safe places to recreate outdoors, the Greater Cincinnati Foundation (GCF) joined us by investing in the beloved westside Mt. Echo Park.
Mt. Echo Park in Price Hill offers one of the city’s most dramatic overlooks, a historic pavilion, and hiking trails along wooded hillsides. GCF’s generous gift of over $21,000 is replacing the iconic stone staircase along one of the Park’s western hillsides. Stonemasons are currently re-leveling, replacing, and securing stone to improve safety and restore the staircase. The work will be finished this summer.
Thank you to the Greater Cincinnati Foundation for making this investment and helping to improve one of Cincinnati’s most beautiful historic parks.
