Everybody in #CincyParks

With Luke5Adventures

No matter the disability, we are making sure everyone has access to the outdoors.

Cincinnati Parks Foundation’s special partnership with Luke5Adventures and Cincinnati Parks is making it possible for
those with disabilities to safely enjoy the benefits of being outdoors like never before!

EVERYBODY BELONGS OUTDOORS

LUKE5ADVENTURES “ROSIE” CHAIRS MAKE IT POSSIBLE

Using special all-terrain wheelchairs, called “Rosies,” trained volunteers are able to move “hikers” of any ability over rough trails, down staircases, across creek beds, and much more. For many participants, these chairs will make it possible to be immersed in nature in ways that would be otherwise impossible.

THE AMAZING BENEFITS OF PARKS

A growing body of research shows that spending time outdoors in parks improves physical and psychological health. By enjoying this guided, safe programming for families, participants can boost their wellbeing and learn first-hand about the positive impacts that accessible parks can make in their lives.
